Hello Sam this is Josh up in NewBedford MA I have 1st pick male off of Sunny + Scarlet well where do I start 1st of all let me say thank

you soooo much.This dog is by far the best and most beautiful Red Nose no make that APBT that I have ever seen.His name is Big Bad

 Conrad but we all call him Conrad or Con kind of after his Grandfather.And let me tell you he is big and bad but in a good way he has changed

 from this little round puppy into at 7 months a 55lb gentle giant I have 2 young girls and his temperment is that of a father with his baby he has

become the best family dog we have had.And if you remeber we were coming off the loss of our 13 year old APBT.Your dog has filled our hearts

 now I can see why you sign off by saying breeding the best reds of today because it true.Conrad is the perfect combo of intelligence strength size

 drive and conformation with a lap dog mentality.I sent for his UKC 7gen ped this is the most impressive ped Ive seen I mean every other dog all the

 way back is a Grand Ch it is truly awsome.I have owend many APBT with old school blood names i wont say and they were nice dogs but verry

wild not Con he has plenty of energy but at the right time he runs with me every day and is outstanding on a lead super super smart dog no dog

 aggression at all.And about his color he is like 5 different colors in 1 at night or in low light he is this beautiful chocolate then in the sun he glows

 like a chocolate/amber and his eyes glow like the sun and the ear crop came out flawless both ears stand perfect.He was super with house training

 and never jumps on people well almost never his favorite place is on the sofa with us but hes getting so big he still thinks he 20lb but we love him so

 we make room .Sam no lie people have almost crashed trying to look at him when we go running.Again thank you for everything I was very nervous

buying a dog from half way across the country but you made it as if you were nextdoor I was very impressed with the way he came in a nice clean crate with

 plenty of bedding he was clean and even smelled nice.Sam from me and my family we thank you and everyone at ACK your dogs are top of the line

 keep up the good work I will be calling you about a girlfreind for Conrad next year I will send some  pictures at about 1yr I will never buy a dog from

Hi Sam,

I wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Helix is doing Awesome.  He is now 1.5 years old and over 80lbs.

 He is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen.  Everywhere I go people can not get over how big he is, especially his head. 

  In this picture, he is sitting next to his best friend in the world: Tyson.  These two are inseparable and have an amazing bond. 

 He is always curious and never gives up.  He has shown his loyalty to me many of times and I am so amazed how he never

 leaves my side.  Helix is my pride and joy.  I can't wait to get my next pup.

Dear Sam, Lots of greatings from Denmark.

We are living only 5 minutes away from the beach, both in Denmark and Sweden 

We go to the beach almost every day - and Chanel just loves to swim - she want's to stay in the water all the time and swims like a

beaver not even Tarzan can keep up with her. She's a very loving and caring dog, I have never seen a dog that strong and powerfull in

all her moves. She's so self confident and aware of everything, that from the first day we got her, she has been taking care of security in

 our home, and every day she surprises me with her good temper.She is always happy and ready to rock - I'm smiling as I'm writing this.

 Everywhere I go in Sweden and Denmark, people are complimenting her and asks me where she's from, so you're about to get famous here in Scandinavia.

 Bottomline: I can’t get my hands down and thank you enough for the ultimate dog. You are truely Sam the man with a plan - We salute you :-)

Sam I bought a puppy a year ago from you , out of con and star she has taken 1st in her class at every local fun show since i bought her.

 She lives to please she loves to work couldn't ask for a better tempered dog i have just breed her to a red rock grandson and wanted to let

 you know how much ive enjoyed her. people are always asking about where i got her and i tell them , just like them i love the big bone

structure big head all bull dog, dog that i received from you thanks again

just keeping in touch here are some pics. of cairo through his stages of growing up he is from axle and sassy.

cairo is the best dog I ever had , he had no problem house training , he has a very good personality , and he is a crowd stopper around here.

he grows about 3 pounds a week and his head grows 1 inch every 2 weeks he is 5 months and weighs 45 lbs,his head is 17 inches round.

he is exactly what I was looking for, and what you said he would be. thank you and im looking forward to see upcoming breedings from

anchor chain kennels in the future.

    I have one of your puppies from Action and Neysa, born May fifteenth of this year. We
named her Betty. I thought that I should keep in touch and tell you about Betty's progress.
First we socialized her. Then we temperament tested her. We gave her a week to adjust to
her new home. Then she went right into puppy class for four weeks. Its like pre-school for
dogs, where they get exposed to more people and more dogs and where they start to learn
their name and also learn that the world isn't as bad as they think it is. She did great through
all of that.
    Now she is training with the big boys. She is five months old and she is resounding great to
our training. For the last month I have been working with her to make sure she is responding
correctly, and every time I work with her I am amazed. She is very intelligent and looks to the
handler for guidance. She has taken to the obedience training very fast. She accomplished many
commands in only one month of training like sitting, downing, and healing.
    We also started Betty on protection work. The first day she barked at the decoy. I was shocked
to see her respond that quickly. Now it seems to be her favorite thing to do. Around the house
she is very protective and always lets me know if someone is on the property. At the same time
she is very sweet, she knows who takes care of her and seems to like her new home. Soon I will
be putting a video together for you of Betty's progress. If you would like to see her now you could

I just wanted to say thanks to Sam at Anchor Chain. I bought a puppy from Myra and he

 turned out to be the smartest, biggest, and most loving pits I have ever had. His muscle

Tyson is doing great, and he is every bit the Alpha male you said he was. Our female lays on him and tries her best to make him submit to her, but he won't have any of it.  He's a little spit fire and doen't put up w/ any of her shit, which is good for her.  I got all the registration papers back so he's oficially ADBA/UKC.  Our female and him are two pees in a pod; we think in her mind she thinks he's her puppy, or that we got him especially for her. But they get along great; share their toys, cuddle when they sleep, and clean each other.   He's all head and feet right now, his paws are nearly as big as our female's already.  And I'd have to say his personality is every bit as great as his color and build.  He looks like a little body builder, brown eyes, and a coat color that looks as if he's gonna takes after his grandma-Myra. He's her color w/ the same stitch of white on his chest.  We got our privacy fence finished a few weeks ago, and they still aren't outside yet.  Hannah and I just aren't quite ready to make them outside dogs yet.  I don't have access to a scanner right now, so I'll mail you some pics if I can't send them to you soon.

Hi Sam,  Hope all is well with you. Things are awesome with our new puppy.  I don't know what you found here in your breeding, but we cannot believe how

good she is. She is SO smart it's eerie. She knows how to sit, give her paw, stay, and (almost) lie down already. She takes everything in

stride and acts as though she has always done things- even if they're new, like walking on a  leash, wearing her coat, asking to go outside to do her business, etc.

We have her signed up for puppy classes starting in 2 weeks. I'm sure she'll be the envy of the class and make a lot of new friends.   She's good with my cat- as you can

see in one picture, she's taken over the cat tree (my poor 15-year-old cat!)and is starting to get used to my horse. She's just unsure of a creature so big and loud.

Frankly I'm afraid for my bunny, though! We've already had some snow, so of course she needed a coat. She weighs 15 lbs, but seems to grow by the minute. She sits and

waits for her food, is patient and kind, and is being socialized to get her goodness out there for people to see. We love her so much. We just stare at

her and can't believe how beautiful she is. We couldn't have asked for anything more. She has added such joy to our lives already and has helped with our

pain over Rumer. We just can't seem to find the right name for her yet, though. Hope you enjoy the pictures, we'll send more as she gets bigger and  more gorgeous.

You are sure going to have some gorgeous puppies coming. What 2 beautiful pairs! You have the most awesome-looking dogs I have ever seen.

 And, their temperment sure matches their beauty. We still can't get over how good Aderyn is.

I wanted to update you on Aderyn. She just turned 6 months old and now weighs 49lbs.  She is so beautiful and so good! She goes to daycare

 twice a week and has a lot of friends. She loves other dogs so we might get her a brother or sister. She's having a blast at daycare right now,

though. She's getting spayed on Wednesday so will have to miss about 2 weeks of seeing her friends- she's not going to be happy. I can't tell you

how much she loves going there. There's nothing better in life!

If someone could ask for the perfect dog, it would be her. Noone can get over her joy for life, her love of people, and her overall goodness. She

has free run of the downstairs of our house and behaves like an angel when we're gone, although she sure hates being left behind! I wish I could

take her everywhere I go. Noone could have a better ambassador for this breed. We take her as many places as we can so people can see how

 good this breed really is. I have such a passion for them. I'm starting to get involved with Pit rescue so I can give a little back to these creatures

 that try so hard and give so much to us-and are so maligned and misunderstood.

Sonny and Axle are really looking great.  Our Tyson is growing up just how
we'd hoped. He weighed 50lbs at his six month vet check. I can't praise your
kennel enough for breeding him, he really is the total package. He's stocky
in build without sacrificing speed, has a good bite, great with people, and
game in the "old school" meaning of the word.  He has more confidence than
any dog I have ever known.
